PSYCHOTHERAPY • WAYNE, PENNSYLVANIA

Psychotherapy for deeper, lasting change.

Relational and attachment-informed psychotherapy for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, addiction and recovery, and periods of meaningful change.

In-person therapy in Wayne, PA and telehealth throughout Pennsylvania.

YOU MAY ALREADY UNDERSTAND A LOT ABOUT YOURSELF.

Understanding a pattern doesn't always mean knowing how to change it.

You may be capable, insightful, and accustomed to handling a great deal on your own. From the outside, things may even appear to be going well. And yet certain relationships, emotions, fears, or patterns continue to pull you back into familiar places.

Therapy offers space to understand not only what is happening, but why—and to develop greater freedom in the way you relate to yourself, other people, and the experiences that matter most to you.

AREAS OF FOCUS

What brings people to therapy

Trauma & EMDR

Experiences from the past that continue to shape how you feel, react, protect yourself, or connect.

Addiction & Recovery

Substance use, compulsive behavior, relapse prevention, shame, identity, and building a meaningful life in recovery.

A RELATIONAL APPROACH

Therapy that looks beneath the surface.

Symptoms rarely exist in isolation. The ways we respond to relationships, uncertainty, conflict, loss, achievement, vulnerability, and even ourselves are often shaped by experiences that came before.

My work is grounded in attachment and relational perspectives. Together, we pay attention to recurring patterns, emotional responses, protective strategies, and the ways your history may still be shaping the present.

The goal is not simply greater insight. It is greater choice—the ability to respond differently where old patterns once felt automatic.

Depending on your needs, therapy may also integrate EMDR, psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive and behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and family-systems concepts.

MEET SARAH

Sarah Notebaert, LCSW, CAADC, CCTP

I'm a licensed clinical social worker providing individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults in Wayne, Pennsylvania and throughout the state via telehealth.

I work especially well with people who are thoughtful, capable, and often highly attuned to the people around them—yet find themselves struggling with anxiety, relationships, trauma, addiction or recovery, perfectionism, or patterns that feel difficult to change on their own.

My style is active, relational, curious, and direct. I believe meaningful therapy involves both feeling deeply understood and being willing to look honestly at the patterns that may no longer be serving you.
