During a session, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where we work collaboratively on your concerns. Our time together is a space for personal growth, healing, and building skills to better navigate life's challenges.
-
Yes. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I adhere to strict professional and ethical guidelines that protect your privacy. What you share in therapy is kept confidential.
There are, however, a few legally mandated exceptions to confidentiality. If you express that you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else, I am required to take steps to ensure safety. This may include involving emergency services or contacting a trusted support person—but whenever possible, we will discuss this together and create a plan collaboratively.

Therapy outcomes are generally strongest when sessions occur on a consistent, weekly basis. When sessions are spaced too far apart, it can be harder to stay connected to the work, and you may find it takes longer to settle back in—especially after a break or time away.
Weekly sessions are typically recommended at the start of therapy. During times of heightened stress or emotional difficulty, we may meet more frequently to provide additional support. As things stabilize, some clients choose to shift to biweekly sessions to maintain progress at a more flexible pace. We’ll collaborate to find a rhythm that works best for you.

I offer therapy sessions in person or remotely through a secure, confidential online platform. Sessions are provided in a safe, welcoming environment, with flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Individual Sessions: 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged (half and double sessions available)
Group Sessions: 90 minutes
Fees and Payment:
I am a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance. Please contact me directly for current session fees and any questions about payment. I can provide a superbill and documentation for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, Venmo, Zelle, credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA accounts.
I am licensed to provide therapy to clients located in Pennsylvania.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged for the cost of session.
Consistency and momentum are key components of effective therapy. For this reason, I encourage clients to prioritize regular attendance and communicate in advance if scheduling changes are needed. If we need to adjust the frequency of sessions, we can collaborate on a plan that supports your goals.

I am a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance. Sessions are paid directly, and I can provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Many clients use out-of-network mental health benefits. In general, PPO and POS plans are more likely to offer out-of-network coverage, while HMO and EPO plans often do not. Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health therapy?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What is my coinsurance or reimbursement rate?
Is there a session limit or any preauthorization requirement?
Do I need a referral to use out-of-network mental health benefits?
You may also be able to use HSA, FSA, or HRA funds for therapy expenses if your plan allows it. Please confirm details directly with your insurer or benefits administrator.

I am unable to prescribe medication. However, I can provide referrals or recommendations for psychiatrists and nurse practitioners in the area if medication management is needed.

Therapy isn’t meant to last forever—it’s a supportive space to help you develop tools, insight, and resilience to navigate life more effectively. The length of therapy depends on your unique needs, goals, and the issues you're working through.
Some clients work with me for a few months to address a specific concern, while others engage in longer-term therapy for ongoing personal growth. We’ll regularly review your progress and goals to ensure that therapy remains meaningful and productive. Some clients also take breaks when they feel grounded and return when new challenges arise.
Whether you're starting fresh or returning after some time away, you're always welcome back.

There’s no one “right” way to feel after therapy—everyone responds differently, and your reactions may even vary from session to session. Some people leave feeling lighter, clearer, or more energized. Others may feel emotionally drained, overwhelmed, or even temporarily worse as difficult topics come to the surface.
All of these responses are normal. Processing emotions and making meaningful change takes work, and it’s okay if that work stirs up strong feelings. Whatever comes up, we’ll work through it together.
-
Yes, feeling bored or wondering “what now?” after a few months in therapy is completely normal. Therapy often begins with storytelling—sharing your history, building trust, and establishing a connection with your therapist. Once that initial phase settles, it’s not uncommon to feel a shift in energy or even some restlessness.
Rather than seeing boredom as a sign that something’s wrong, it can actually be an invitation to go deeper. Naming your boredom or frustration in session can open up new insights and help uncover what’s beneath the surface. Often, this is the stage where the real work begins—when deeper patterns, emotions, and breakthroughs can start to emerge.
-
I primarily work with individuals aged 13 and older. However, I am open to working with younger clients on a case-by-case basis, depending on the unique circumstances and needs.
-
Yes! Group therapy provides a supportive, growth-oriented space to explore challenges, connect with others, and practice new ways of relating. It can be especially helpful for building insight, communication skills, and a sense of belonging. Groups may be open (with rotating members) or closed (with the same members throughout), depending on the format and goals. Sessions are typically 90 minutes long, and group therapy can also be a more affordable alternative to individual therapy.
Groups run based on interest and availability. If you're curious about current or upcoming offerings, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to add you to the waitlist or let you know what’s in development.

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar challenges. It can help reduce feelings of isolation, provide multiple perspectives on your struggles, and offer a supportive environment to practice new skills. Many people find that hearing others’ stories helps them feel understood and less alone. It’s also a cost-effective option compared to individual therapy and can complement one-on-one work by reinforcing insights in a group setting.
