Areas of Focus

Challenges I Help Clients Work Through

Addiction & Recovery

  • Substance Use Disorders & Dual Diagnosis: I work with individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns, offering tools for stabilization, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery.

  • Process Addictions & Obsessive Thinking: For those caught in cycles of compulsive behavior or mental rumination, we explore the function of these patterns and develop more adaptive ways of coping.

  • Loved Ones of Addicts & Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families: Whether you’re navigating a loved one’s addiction or still healing from the impact of growing up in a chaotic or emotionally unpredictable home, I offer a safe space to untangle loyalty, grief, anger, and self-protection.

  • Codependency & Self-Worth: Many of my clients have lost connection with their own needs and identity in the context of caring for others. Together, we work on boundaries, self-trust, and reclaiming inner stability.

Emotional Health & Identity

  • Mood Disorders & Anxiety: I help clients manage depression, panic, and emotional overwhelm using insight-oriented therapy, somatic tools, and lifestyle awareness.

  • Self-Esteem & Shame: You may appear “put together” but struggle internally with self-criticism, perfectionism, or the belief that you're not enough. Therapy can help uncover and shift these narratives.

  • Stress, Anger & Life Transitions: Whether it’s a major life change or daily stressors, we explore healthy emotional expression and strategies to feel more balanced and in control.

Relationships & Attachment

  • Attachment Issues & Relationship Challenges: I support clients in understanding attachment patterns, setting boundaries, and building more secure, fulfilling connections.

  • Family Conflict, Peer Relationships, & School Issues: I work with adolescents and families to improve communication, reduce conflict, and build resilience within the home and school environments.

  • Women's Issues: I offer a nonjudgmental space for women navigating identity, career, body image, and empowerment — especially in the face of relational or generational trauma.

Trauma Recovery

  • PTSD & Complex Trauma: Whether from a single event or ongoing experiences, trauma can leave a lasting imprint. I use a trauma-informed, relational lens to help you process and heal at your own pace.

A Personal Touch

Get to Know Me Beyond the Practice

  • Creative Spirit: I find joy in all things artistic—painting, fashion, designing, and cooking. Tapping into creativity keeps me grounded and often inspires the way I connect with others and approach healing work.

  • Running Enthusiast: Running is a regular practice for me, helping me stay centered and mindful.

  • Animal & Nature Lover: Spending time in nature brings me peace and rejuvenation. Whether it’s hiking, being on the water or exploring with my dog, I find solace in the natural world.
